48s class

 Classing: 48s - 48 class Silverton

The 48s class was the Silverton reclassing of some NSW 48 class locmotives and some South Australian 830 class locmotives. Most have retained their 48s numbers despite not being owned by Silverton for a number of years. All ex 830 locomotives have been reclassed to their original number where as ex 48 class loco's haven't.
