93 class
The 93 class was ordered from UGL by Pacific National as an evolution of the 92 class design, with the main differences between the two being in their computer systems. The 93 class were originally used on intermodal traffic on the Melbourne - Brisbane corridor in conjunction with other classes but have also seen traffic on the Melbourne to Adelaide services and services to Perth. The 93 class were noted as being for Pacific National Victoria in the original press release but have been slotted into the NSW number and classing scheme.
