T 386

 VR Blue and Gold

 V/line Orange and Grey

 SSR Black and Yellow

T386 was originally withdrawn by V/line and eventually fell into the hands of Great Northern who used the locomotive as a source of spare parts. It was stripped of almost all parts and had the top of its cab cut off and was written off as scrap by them.

It was eventuall purchased by El Zorro and was rebuilt to operating condition and painted into a V/line Orange and Grey scheme minus any lettering. It wore a unique set of number plates styled simmilar to those in the late 1800's to the early 1900's. While working for El Zorro it was on standard gauge.

When El Zorro ceased operating and their assets sold it ended up in the hands of SSR who in the first half of 2014 refurbished it and converted it to broad gauge for use on the Warrnambool container trai.

T386 sandwiched between S300 and C501 while stabled at Portland on the 13/11/2011.
