80 class

The 80 class was built by Goodwin ALCO for the NSWGR. Although they were relitavely successful they were not asx powerful as most modern locomotives of the time (other state railways were ordering 3,000hp locos at the time)  where as NSW was only ordering 2000hp range locos. Some 80's remain in service with various operators and can be found in numerous places around Australia. QUBE rail ran double 80 class with 8030 and 8037 in Victoria for a time and Pacific National forwarded another 80 to Perth for shunting duties.
