Leyland Railmotors

VR was looking for larger capicity railmotors after the AEC railmotors and this need brought the Leylands. The Leyland railmotors were officiallt named Double Ended Railmotors because they were VR's first railmotor with a cab at each end. They became known as Leylands because of their Leyland engines.
