Numbering

A commonly asked question I get asked is why not many Victorian classes start from 1. There is a logical reason for this. Most if not all of Victorian train types are numbered in such a way as to avoid double up's. They are also numbered according to the type of vehicle they are. Some double ups did occur though eg. CS 101 - Y 101 and H 1 - RTL 1 - RT 1 etc.
