Kerr Stuart Railcar

In the 1910's VR built themselvs a new railcar using parts supplied by Kerr Stewart in England and the body built new at Newport. It must have had problems as it was recorded the car only ran 50,000 miles before it was withdrawn. It is sometimes referred to as the "Great Western" steamcar by some enthusiasts.
