Part 2: How to Edit in Thrive Architect
Adding a new objective (i.e. "After studying this topic, you should be able to:")
Duplicate the last list item and replacing text with CTRL-Shift-v combination:
Replacing the diagram
Open the new diagram in Google slides (link will be provided by the reviewer in a Trello comment), then add '© Focus on Force www.focusonforce.com' text with Arial 8 font to the bottom right corner. (© keyboard shortcut is cmd and g -> not applicable in Windows)
Make sure that all images are compressed
Currently we use https://kraken.io/
Replacing images
Please refer to this link on how to replace the old image with a new one (outside of Thrive Architect) but retain the URL so that all pages using that one image will be updated simultaneously:
https://sites.google.com/site/focuswiki1/thrive-architect/media-replace
Adding a new image
1. Duplicate an image box and caption box, then drag them together. (We duplicate elements to retain the formatting previously done.) Replace the image with the newly uploaded one by: clicking on the image, clicking "Replace Image" in the left side panel, upload the new image in the pop-up, select the image, and then click on the "Insert into post" button at the bottom.
2. Make sure that all images, except diagrams, have captions. In this example, "Internal Community Users' Login Settings" is the caption:
3. The space between images should be 20px. See bottom padding in the example below:
3. All images should open in a new tab.
4. Make sure to add a Title to the image. The Title text shows up when a user hovers their cursor on an image like so:
Adding a new table
Go to 'Add elements'->'Templates & Symbols' and find the table. Go to 'manage cells' to add/remove rows and columns and update background color.
Adding links to the 'Learn More' section
Go to the styled list, 'add new' list element, add the heading text and link, set the text to be bold and dark blue, and a dot as an icon.
Adding a new Review card
Select the last card, duplicate it, and go to Edit HTML content. Replace the text with the new question and answer.
After all comments from the PDF are implemented:
Check how it looks on mobile/tablet and fix if anything needs to be fixed:
After saving, go to preview and make sure that no text was lost, that all content is added, that every link works (if some don't, try to find some to replace), and that every image can be opened in a new tab.
