Transferring GDrive File Ownership

If you create any files in google drive folders, especially CONTENT for FOCUS ON FORCE, or INTERNAL PROCESS related files, please make sure to change the owner to MARTIN GESSNER.

If you have to go back and TRANSFER OWNERSHIP one by one, here is the process

Transfer File Ownership One at a Time

Go to the file you want to transfer ownership to Martin
Click SHARE button on the upper right corner.

3. Then on the pop up, click Advanced button, find MARTIN'S NAME on the access list, click the PENCIL icon, click IS OWNER

Transferring Ownership of Multiple Files From a File List

If you want to easily transfer ownership to Martin of MULTIPLE files in GDrive List

1. While inside Gdrive folder listing several files, highlight the files you want to transfer ownership to Martin

2. Click SHARE button on the upper right corner

3. Then on the pop up, click Advanced button, find MARTIN'S NAME on the access list, click the PENCIL icon, click IS OWNER

Transferring Ownership of Multiple Files Using GDrive Custom Script

If you want to easily transfer ownership to Martin of MULTIPLE files you own within the many GDrive folders, you can RUN THE SCRIPT file within your GDrive.

1. From inside your Google Drive, find this file: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18RZ9Uz3FBd_jp2elrveSETylk53vUCC5RahqD-0Ur9Q/edit#gid=0

You can type "script" on the search bar and you can find it.

2. While you are on the Script file, highlight the folder link you want to run (these are folders where you have files you own) and click TRANSFER on the top menu, click FILES on the dropdown, and the process should start.

Let it run and finish.

NOTE: Don't run the script on many folders at a time, it will take forever :)
