Website emails

Sending out emails

• We use the plugin ‘WP Mail SMTP’ to send emails on the website.

• To check the settings: Go to ‘WP Mail SMTP’ -> ‘Settings’ -> ‘General Tab’

• To test email: Go to ‘WP Mail SMTP’ -> ‘Settings’ -> ‘Email Test Tab’

Emails on non-production environments

• We don’t allow emails on non-production environments to be sent out. We use the plugin ‘Disable Emails’ to disable that. Unless we will be testing to send an email to a user, we could temporarily disable the plugin for the meantime.

• We also use the plugin ‘Log Emails’ so we could check all the emails.

• Emails that we’re not sent out due to enabling of the plugin ‘Disable Emails’ will still be logged.

• To check the emails. Go to ‘Tools’ -> ‘Log Emails’.
