Updated Holiday Information (December 4th 2025)
Under the new contractor agreement, contractors are not required to work on nationally declared public holidays. However, as holiday pay is not included in the updated contractor terms, any public holiday on which no work is performed will be unpaid, in line with the agreement’s daily-rate structure. Payment will continue to be based solely on the contractor’s daily rate and actual work delivered.
This page therefore no longer lists paid holiday provisions for contractors engaged under the new agreement.
For permanent employees, all holiday entitlements are defined in their individual Employment Contract Agreement, and the contract terms shall prevail.
