In this article, we'll discuss how to use K2 Konnect for daily timesheets and monthly invoices. K2 Konnect is an internal tool that makes it easy for employees to track their work hours and generate invoices. With K2 Konnect, you can create a timesheet for each day you work and generate an invoice at the end of each month. In this article, we'll walk you through how to use K2 Konnect's features so you can get started with your daily timesheets and monthly invoices

Step 1: Login to K2 Konnect
First, you need to log in to K2 Konnect. For first-time users, you will receive an email notification once your account is created and enabled. There is also a PDF attached to the email that provides more information on how to use K2 Konnect, but this video demo will summarize it.
Step 2: Click on the My Projects tab
Once you are logged in, click on the My Projects tab.
Step 3: Select the appropriate project
Then, you will be brought to the My Projects page. Normally, you will only see one project that's associated with your team or company. Click on that project.
Step 4: Click on Timesheets
Click on the Timesheets tab.
Step 5: Create or Edit Timesheet
If there is an existing timesheet for the month, click on the correct month, and click Edit. If you are creating the first entry for the month, then simply click on Create a timesheet.
Step 6: Select Period
Choose the period. Please take note that each period is represented by each month.
Step 7: Add Details of Daily Timesheet
Once you have selected the period, you will be brought to the page where you can add the details of your daily timesheet. Fill out your check-in and checkout time. If you work multiple instances per day, it's okay to just put a range. What's important is to input the total hours for the day on the "Standard" column. On the comments column, click on the + icon, then add the details of the activities/tasks that you have completed for the day. Once you have added everything for the day, scroll at the bottom and hit on save.
Step 8: Submit Timesheet
Please take note that timesheets will only be submitted by the end of the month.
NOTE: Once the timesheet has been submitted, you can proceed in generating your monthly invoice.
Step 1: Go to the Invoices tab
If you are already on the timesheet's page, just scroll up, and look for the Invoices tab. If not, then perform the same steps as what was discussed earlier and click on the Invoices tab instead of the Timesheets.
Step 2: Select the correct period and invoice type
Then, select the correct period date, and on the invoice type, select Timesheet.
Step 3: Validate Invoice Details
The timesheet detail will appear on the screen to validate the amount before proceeding. If everything is okay, click Add.
Step 4: Generate Invoice
Click on the green next button. Before submitting, you'll have the chance to review the invoice details. If everything is all good, scroll down and click on the Generate button.
NOTE: Upon submitting, it will go to our finance team for validation and processing. If there is anything that needs to be corrected or updated on your invoice, you will get a notification from your manager.
