Create an Assignment

When the users need to create or review a Question, they will need first to create an Assignment which will be assigned to the respective reviewers before it will be available on the UI. 

These steps describe how to create either a new question assignment or a review question assignment. 

Create a New Question Assignment with Single Category

1. Go to the Create Assignments tab then click the New Questions Assignment(s) button. 

2. Enter/select data from the following fields:

• Reviewer*: User may select a different creator/reviewer 

• Number of Assignments*: These are the number of assignments to be created

• Assignment Type*: (e.g. New Exam, Forum Feedback, Release Update, Cert Improvement)

• UI Question Status*: (e.g. Updated for Lightning, UI Independent, Classic Only Feature, Lightning Update Required) 

• Screenshot Status*: (e.g. Added, Required, Needs Updating, Not Required, Needs Review)

• Assignment Objective: Explain the purpose or the goal of the created assignment

• Question Topic: What is this question about, e.g. Search capabilities available in a Lightning Community. This may have already been provided when the question was assigned. If not, then it needs to be completed.

• Select Certification: (e.g. Admin, Advanced Admin, Community Cloud, App Builder, PD1, PD2, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, DA, SVD)

• Select Category and Detailed Category: User can select the specific category and sub-category of the assignment

Notes:

• * is a required field

3. Ensure to add at least one Category Set from the list by clicking the Add Category Set button after selecting the Certification, Category and Detailed Category. 

4. Click the 'Create Assignment' button. 

The New Question Assignment will be created and will be listed in the Current Assignments tab. Also, an email will be received to notify the reviewer that a new assignment has been assigned. 

Create a New Question Assignment with Multiple Categories

1. Go to the Create Assignments tab then click the New Questions Assignment(s) button. 

2. Enter/select data from the following fields:

• Reviewer*: User may select a different creator/reviewer 

• Number of Assignments*: These are the number of assignments to be created

• Assignment Type*: (e.g. New Exam, Forum Feedback, Release Update, Cert Improvement)

• UI Question Status*: (e.g. Updated for Lightning, UI Independent, Classic Only Feature, Lightning Update Required) 

• Screenshot Status*: (e.g. Added, Required, Needs Updating, Not Required, Needs Review)

• Assignment Objective: Explain the purpose or the goal of the created assignment

• Question Topic: What is this question about, e.g. Search capabilities available in a Lightning Community. This may have already been provided when the question was assigned. If not, then it needs to be completed.

3. Add multiple Category Sets from the list by clicking the Add Category Set button after selecting the Certification, Category and Detailed Category. 

4. Click the 'Create Assignment' button. 

The New Question Assignment will be created and will be listed in the Current Assignments tab. Also, an email will be received to notify the reviewer that a new assignment has been assigned.

Create a Review Question Assignment

1. Go to the Create Assignments tab then click the Review Questions Assignment(s) button. 

2. Enter/select data from the following fields:

• Reviewer*: User may select a different creator/reviewer 

• Assignment Type*: (e.g. New Exam, Forum Feedback, Release Update, Cert Improvement)

• UI Question Status*: (e.g. Updated for Lightning, UI Independent, Classic Only Feature, Lightning Update Required) 

• Screenshot Status*: (e.g. Added, Required, Needs Updating, Not Required, Needs Review)

• Assignment Objective*: Explain the purpose or the goal of the created assignment

Note:

3. Select data in the following fields then click the Get Questions button.

• Select Certification^ (e.g. Admin, Advanced Admin, Community Cloud, App Builder, PD1, PD2, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, DA, SVD)

• Select Category and Detailed Category^: User can select the specific category and sub-category of the assignment

The list of questions related to the Certification and Category will be displayed. Users may also sort the questions by clicking the column headings (UI Status, Screenshot Status, Updated Date, Question Topic and Version).

Users may view the details of each review question by clicking the View button. 

Status (UI Question Status and Screenshot Status) and Question Topic fields can be updated as well. Click the Update button after modifying the fields. 

4. Select/select all the desired questions to be reviewed by ticking the checkbox(es).

5. Click 'Create Assignment' button. 

The Review Question Assignment will be created and will be listed in the Current Assignments tab. Also, an email will be received to notify the reviewer that a new assignment has been assigned.
