Spotify Wrapped 2025 Recap

Last year went by too fast, and our music taste changed so much: from pop, to K-Pop Demon Hunters, to country, and our Spotify Wrapped encompassed all of that. Spotify Wrapped looks back at all the music you have listened to from January 1st to mid November. It summarizes everything and shows you  stats such as how many minutes of music you listened to, your most played song, your most played album, and even your listening age, which tells you, depending on the music you listen to, what age people tend to be when listening to the music. This is a new feature for 2025.

This year, the top ten US songs on Spotify Wrapped were… (dun dun DUN)

Personally, I think Golden by HUNTR/X should not be on there because most people are over their K-Pop Demon Hunters phase. (If you’re not… no judgement!)

I still think that K-pop Demon Hunters needs to GET OFF THIS LIST, and most Lakesiders agreed with this because almost no one had K-pop Demon Hunters on their Spotify Wrapped. I was also surprised because Short n’ Sweet was STILL on there instead of Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend, although MBF might’ve been slightly more mature for some of her audience… Also, Morgan Wallen was on there TWICE, and no hate to him but can we make some room for other artists?

We created a Google form about Spotify wrapped, and from our responses, Lakeside’s top artists were… (blame yourself for not voting if you don’t like it)

6th grader Liana G. had the most minutes within the survey. She had 39,756 minutes. That’s almost a month of listening to music on Spotify!

When people were asked to guess their top song, 13 people guessed their top song wrong, and so did we, (though a lot of people just didn’t guess). I think that it was pretty hard to guess because some of us did not remember the songs we listened to earlier this year.

Some of the results were slightly concerning, but overall this year's Spotify Wrapped was spectacular, with a new feature and variety of artists. Thanks for reading and we hope you enjoyed our Spotify Wrapped article!
