Have you wondered about the different kinds of devices used by Lakesiders? Well, the results are in! After 86 responses came in, the iPhones came out on top by a lot. 48.8% of Lakesiders have iPhones! You may be wondering about the whole iPhone-Android argument. In the end, Apple came out on top, by a lot. They had 34 more responses. In contrast, the Android phones only had 7 responses (8.1%).
Most of those iPhones were, of course, the normal edition. Most of those were the 13th generation, but they went all the way back to the iPhone 7. 16.7% of the iPhones were the SE line. Interestingly, most of the people who had iPhone Pros had the 14th generation, as opposed to the 13th generation that most people with normal iPhones had.
Another strong contestant was the Apple watch, with 24.4%. That’s more than the number of people who had Android phones, by a lot! Most of the Apple watches were the SE series, with 65% of all of the Apple watches being the SE series.
When I asked how long people spent on these devices, almost all of them said 0-30 minutes, as you can see by the image above. 46 people said 0-30 minutes, which dropped to 10 people who reported use between 30 and 60 minutes. When you do not include homework, there is an even curve from 0-30 minutes down to 5+ hours, which 4 people said.
Sidenote: According to my data, only 3 teachers have phones :)
