Lakeside Middle School is a fantastic place where kids can learn. However, due to recent events, this might change. According to various members of the Lakeside community (including myself), this wonderful school has been impaired by numerous strange activities in the past decade, or like the past few months. I’m afraid Lakeside Middle School is now the Lakeside Haunted School.
Every day between 5-6 pm the hallways are deserted and ominously quiet, creating the SPOOKY vibe. Recently, there have been floorboard creaks and flickering lights. Those might’ve just been a minor problem with the system, but furthermore, Lakeside has had a terrible heating problem, which mysteriously occurred the day after I was educated by Mx. Thackray about Lakeside’s other hauntings. Isn’t that suspicious? Perhaps the ghosts were just enticed to haunt the heaters as a protest to my knowledge.
Speaking of Mx. Thackray, they and Mr. Jovcic have a sink and paper towel dispenser in their office in the library. Somedays, when Mx. Thackray is typing up a beautifully worded email, she hears the familiar vroooeeeaaam sound of the dispenser. She looks up from her fantastic Lenovo keyboard and sees the most horrifying thing ever. A paper towel coming out of the dispenser with no one around. Nonchalantly, it comes out and comes to a stop. Is this a brave ghost emerging from a water balloon fight with its friends, wanting to dry up?
With these odd activities adding up, I think it’s safe to say that Lakeside Middle School is no longer a safe place for our students after the hour of 5. So, after mysterious claims and evidence we come down to this: is Lakeside truly haunted?
Yes.
