Lakeside’s Opinion of Taylor Swift!

Taylor Swift is a great musical artist. She makes almost all of her music by herself, and has released over 14 albums, seven of them having more than 1 million copies sold within their first week of release. Swift is currently on tour, and so far, she has earned over $1 billion. One ticket can range anywhere from $400 to $1,000! Her music is really good and I just want to promote how good she is!

There is still a debate over Taylor Swift’s best album, but Lover, Midnights, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), Reputation, and Speak Now are the most popular ones. However, other people might have different opinions.

A few of her most well-known songs are “Shake It Off,” “Bad Blood,” “Blank Space,” “Antihero,” “(I Knew You Were) Trouble," "Fearless,” "Love Story," and “We Are Never Getting Back Together.” Her most watched music video on YouTube was “Shake It Off,” followed by “Bad Blood” and “Blank Space.”  “Shake It Off” got over 3 billion views!

I like Midnights, Lover, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), Speak Now, and Fearless because they have some of the most popular songs in them. They also just have good tunes, and I love them so much!

However, these are just a few of the songs people around the world vibe to. To find out more about what Taylor Swift albums people in Lakeside like, I talked with a few people.

“I like Folklore, Lover, Midnights, and The Tortured Poets Department.” said Victoria, a sixth grader.

“I don’t know! I like… Lover?” remarked an anonymous Lakesider.

Now, here are a few people’s favorite songs.

“I like most of the songs in Lover and 1989 (Taylor’s Version), but I really like Lover, Antihero, Style, Enchanted, ME!, Bejeweled, and Cruel Summer.  I like a few more, but I just can’t think of them right now!” said Victoria.

“Shake it off, shake it off!” said fifth-grader Omar, reciting one of the most well-known catchphrases of Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift is one of the greatest pop singers and, yes, people disagree, but while the haters are going to hate, hate, hate, we Swifties are just going to shake, shake, shake!
