Welcome or welcome back to the Dear Leo Lakeside Advice Column! I wish I could say many people submitted this month, but unfortunately, there was only one passionate (and very distressed) monkey. Anyway, we’d love some more questions to answer, so feel free to fill out this form if you have any questions or need advice! Enjoy!
Dear Advice Column,
I need some advice. I went number 2 in my friend's bathroom and I don't know what to tell her!! I'm so embarrassed... what do I do? Tell her? Say it was her DAD? Please help! - sad monkey
Hi Sad Monkey! A good friend won’t judge you, no matter how embarrassing! So don’t feel ashamed to tell her, and I’m sure she’ll be super understanding about it as well. If she has Poo-Pouri, maybe try using that too? But maybe don’t blame it on her poor dad. Hope this helps!
Dear Advice Column,
Hi it's me again... I need a bit more advice on something I'm struggling with. I have a crush on this guy, Banana... but he really likes Orangutan instead but Orangutan doesn't like Banana back!! She likes Mango!!! What should I do?- sad monkey
Hi again! Unfortunately, sometimes crushes don’t work out, and that’s ok! I know it’s hard, but I’m sure Banana is in the same boat as you, so being a source of comfort for each other could really help, even just as friends! Of course, sometimes friends need space, especially after rejection, so if that’s what you’re friend needs be sure to respect that too! YOU GOT THIS!!!
Dear Advice Column,
Hi it's me again! I want to ask my pookie to the dance, but I don't know how because he already rejected me last time!! I'm still DEFINITELY gonna ask. How should I ask this time?? By the way, LOVE your work and advice 💗😊 -sad monkey
Wow, nice to see you again! I personally wouldn’t recommend asking him again, just so it won’t make things awkward/uncomfortable, but if you do, I’m wishing you luck!! OOH, or you could ask Mango instead if they don’t like Orangutan back. Maybe you two can make something work? Or you could go with me hehe (I’d love to be your pookie <3). I’ll be rooting for you!!
Dear Advice Column,
Hi... it's me again. Unfortunately, I have come across ANOTHER problem. My best friend is now a furry and I'm not sure what to do! All she does is yap, bark, quack, and meow. I don't know how to communicate with her, but she's still my best friend. What should I do? Should I bark at her back? -sad monkey
Oh! Um, I don’t know how well barking at her back would help with communication, but it’s worth a shot? Even if that doesn’t work out, though, it’s definitely important to be open-minded and respectful about her choices. Maybe instead of communicating verbally, try to find other ways to have bestie-bonding time such as doing something fun together! And remember, even if your bestie can’t communicate with you right now, just know that she loves you just as much as you care about her. <33
Thank you once again for the responses!! See you next month!
Love,
The Lakeside Leo (Grace)
