This screen is a list of documents that are stored against this contract which will include all contracts that have been issued by SLM as well as returned scanned documents that have been signed.
Once a contract is issued by SLM to Customers for signature the relating document(s) are stored here along with the To sign? flag checked.
All documents generated by the system are stored against the contract, and they are also accessible from the Customer screen. Any further documents that relate to the contract or any renewal thereof can be uploaded to the database by the user, and will be listed against the contract.
Any documents listed in this window can viewed or extracted. Click on Display file in browser opens the file in a new browser tab or new browser window.
Storing a document
When a signed document has been returned then this can be stored against the contract here. Tick Signed? when the document has been fully executed.
To store a document click on "Save file to database". This brings up the search window shown below.
Navigate to the directory which contains the document that you wish to load. Select the document and then click on Open.
After the file is loaded you will get an option to remove it from the file-system. Generally it is advisable to double-check it is in the database first (by viewing it) and then deleting it from your file-system manually.
Extract from database
This will display a directory window in which the document is to be saved.
After the file is saved, there is the option to remove it from RCS. Use this option with extreme caution as it will totally remove the file from the database. If in doubt contact the RCS Administrator.
