This screen shows the Chart of Accounts configuration for revenue i.e. SLM sales
The top section of the screen lists the 8 Chart of Accounts segments that are currently in use.
The lower part of the screen lists the codes that are available for the segment highlighted at the top.
For each segment there are 4 checkboxes that determine whether the code should be used as the default for the format in question. These 4 checkboxes, as seen above, are the same for the first 6 segments.
For the 7th segment there are no checkboxes that direct or constrain use of the codes.
The 8th segment (Project) has the 4 format/default checkboxes as described above for segments 1 to 6. It also has another checkbox that indicates whether a 3rd party fee is payable as a commission on the sale. At the time of writing this facility is used to mark payments that relate to sales made by IDS, for which a commission is due.
