In An Internet media type (aka MIME type or Content-type) is a standard identifier used on the Internet to indicate the type of data that a file contains.
This screen is used to configure how stored documents are handled when extracted from the database for display in the browser.
File extensions
Each file extension that is stored needs to be linked to a MIME header. Multiple extension can be linked to the same header.

This tab lists the MIME headers that are required for the file extensions used in the stored documents.
If a new files extension needs to be processed the appropriate header must be in this list, and then the extension can be added and linked to this header.
