Quick commission is a feature intended to make entering a commission faster.
It is available in a number of contexts including Content matching (when you click on "Create a commission") and in the Campaigns screen. You will be given the choice of using the Quick process or creating the commission using the extended process on the Commissioning platform (the latter should be used for any non-standard commissioning).
1. Having initiated a call to create a commission, you will be given a choice of the Quick option or Full process.
2. You will be asked whether you want to pay the standard wordage rate.
3. You will then be taken to this Quick commission window. RCS will have completed as many details as it can, e.g. the contributor. Please check these details on screen and fill in any gaps, add the editor you are commissioning on behalf of (if appropriate), and finally click "Submit".
4. If you want to check you have the correct contributor press "Show details". If you need to add a new contributor, click on "Add new supplier".
5. If you want this commission to be matched against content over a period of time, tick the "Auto-match" checkbox and enter a date range.
6. On clicking Submit, RCS will create the commission (and in Content matching match it to the highlighted content. You will then have the option to "Edit" the commission (to update any details, e.g. unusual rights, or adding an advance payment, etc.) or just click "Continue".
