This is the process of how the details of new Syndication licence are entered.
Process a new request from a customer
With the customer highlighted click on New Request
If multiple contacts exists for the customer then a list of contacts will pop up and the customer contact dealing with the request will need to be selected:
On the request screen enter search details such as the published date, the Publication the content appeared in, the format (text, picture etc), contributor to find the relevant content. If the URL of the content is known then this can be pasted into the Headline / URL field. Click on find to go to the search for Published content.
On the Right hand side of the screen is a
The licencing rights of the content will be displayed along with the fee (providing the content was linked to a commission)
Select customer – also highlight the contact (possible different address).. See Create New contact (link to create contact)
Enter Name / Date, Check rights
Process request
Exit- go to Review request to preview licence and send quote.. (Link to Review Request.)
