RCS issues 4 different types of email alert to secondary users of GNM content which advise them if an issue affects a specific item of published content. This screen defines the 4 types of alert.
Each type is uniquely identified by a Code, and also has a meaningful Name.
The checkboxes shown on screen identify whether the email alert type is used for Corrections and clarifications or Legal notices.
When the alerts are generated and issued the alerting process merges the Message and Person sending (both shown on the right of the screen) into the body of the email.
