This screen is used to maintain the rules for the Cost centre and Product codes and how they may be used.
In the Cost centre tab there is a checkbox Enforce matching of commissions to content? When this is ticked, commissions created under the corresponding cost centre can only be fulfilled if they are matched to content.
That rule can be lifted for departments where commissions often need to be paid prior to publication For example Obituaries and Travel where is it not uncommon for them to commission lots of stock items or they may simply not have a set publication date but need to pay the contributor.
If Create framework agreements? is checked against a cost centre then a framework agreement will be created for the commissioned contributor providing they are not currently on staff or contract.

In Product tab there are two options relating to how the product code are processed in RCS:
Spend against this code? determines whether the code can be used to process payments (i.e. the product code has a budget)
Published product? indicates whether the code is related to a published product i.e that it is not a product code that exists for budgeting purposes only
In both the Cost centre and Product tabs the code can be disabled in the normal way (as per the Chart of accounts screens).
