29 Animating Over Video

Trim your clip accurately

Then copy it

Create a new project File>New Project

Paste your trimmed clip into the new project

Export the single clip to your desktop

Open Flash

Create a new flash project (command N)

Import your video (File>Import>Import Video)

Browse to your clip

Launch the Encoder

If you did it right the new file should be a .flv

Select the new file

Make your document size match your video

Create a new layer

Keyframe animation usually will work best but using symbols and tweens are fine too

Once you are finished, test your movie. (command return)

Use Swivel to convert your .swf to a .mov

Bring it back into final cut
