DISTRICT YOUTH LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

SLUSD is launching a District Youth Leadership Council, which will offer the district much needed student input on the LCAP in addition to offering a great leadership opportunity for students.

    • The Council will be comprised of 16 middle and high school students, with 2 representatives per class (9-12th).

    • Students who serve on the Council need to be able to attend the three meeting dates already set for:

    • 6th - 11th graders who are accepted will be asked to serve for the remainder of the 2015-16 school year and the entire 2016-17 school year.

    • There is a very quick turnaround for applications -- March 4

The application asks students to respond to two questions and to list a reference, posted here: http://www.sanleandro.k12.ca.us/Page/7989
