We constantly update this list with things we need to help the academy run. We try to list both small and large wishes so you can fund the little things often and maybe purchase a big wish when you can. All the wishes you grant us will be celebrated here on the website and you will also receive a thank you card signed by students and staff.
You can get the items shipped to you and then delivered to us by your kid, or you can have the items delivered to us at

SLAM Parent Meetings
There will be periodic parent meetings throughout the year. We discuss SLAM events and field trips, SLAM projects and fundraisers, SLAM courses and skills, and much more. Come and get involved or check back here to see what is happening.
Field Trips.
SLAM takes many field trips throughout the year and you are welcome to come on any as a chaperone. It's not as difficult as it sounds, think of it as a great day getting to attend a play or a museum with a great group of kids. We take care of the logistics and the organization, you just come and enjoy yourself.
Donors Choose
Donors choose allows teachers to create projects and people like you to fund those projects. SLAM gets a lot of its equipment and supplies through Donors Choose and through the generosity of parents, alumni, and friends. All donations are tax deductible.
