The above newspiece has these elements:
Intro animation or graphic.
Voiceover discussing the issue or the event.
Video of the issue or event.
Photos (slideshow with Ken Burns Effect or some movement).
Ending animation or graphic.
There is also a webpage with a longer story, further information, links, and photos.
You will be creating this for your Short News Piece project.
Some ways to make yours even better:
Include an interview
For games, always hit the highlights of the game and the final score.
Your webpage can show other videos about the subject or other useful websites.
For Sophomore Macbeth project, your news piece will be about an event or character in Macbeth.
Treat the story as if it happened yesterday (current event) or as history (history channel).
You should create graphics using photoshop.
