Turning in Animation and Effects Project

Post date: May 05, 2016 3:11:22 PM

To turn your project in:

1. In Final Cut, File > Share > Master File. Be sure to test the settings and set the compression to h.264.

2. Name your file with the proper naming convention: tfarley_phargrave_stobin_title of work

The first name should be the person who edited it, the second and third are the others who worked on it with you.

3. Drop it into the Effects folder in _2016 SLAMMY's. This is a dropbox, so you won't be able to see any files in there.

4. Fill out the form linked here.

Deadline May 27th 4pm

The SLAMMYS are coming, and one group of 3 Sophomores will win for Animation and Effects because it is a Sophomore only project!

In groups of 3 or less, create a short story that has actors green screened into scene that you have drawn in Flash as well as animated characters or objects into a video.

You can use each other's shots, animations, and backgrounds but each person in your group must edit their own video. Shoot for 1-3 minutes.

Your story can have many more shots, but you must have at least these shots:

1. Greenscreen live characters and a drawn foreground element composited into a drawn background.

2. Animated character composited into a video shot.

Some Examples:

This one shows animated characters composited into video shots but does not have green screen shots in a drawn background
