SLHS Broadcasting Launching This Year!

posted Aug 11, 2018, 3:17 PM by Tony Farley

It's been a long haul from getting the broadcasting class approved, to getting students signed up, and then to renovate the studio. We are now poised to launch the SLHS Broadcasting program this year! We have created a website at where you can see all the great things we have going on in the studio.

We also have an agreement with the City of San Leandro to run our shows on the local Comcast Channel

Some shows we are planning:
    Weekly announcements show
Game of the Week, a weekly live broadcast of an SLHS game.
Do you have an idea for a show? Come make it happen!

The SLHS Broadcasting studio is dedicated to teaching broadcasting skills to San Leandro High School students as well as creating exciting content for our schools and community. We have everything needed to create professional quality programming.

Check out our equipment page to see the extensive features and equipment in the studio.

See our Schedule page to view the studio availability and to schedule studio time.
