Triathlon
The picture to the left shows many things about me.
On my forehead is a swimmer, a biker, and a runner. This is for triathlon. I am a triathlete and a certified triathlon coach. I have finished many triathlons of all sizes but the biggest was the Ironman triathlon in Arizona. An Ironman Tri consists of a 2.4 mile swim, a 116 mile bike ride, and a 26.2 mile run (a marathon!). I did all that in 13 hours.
Here is a film my students made of my journey to become an Ironman.
I wrote a book, "Couch Potato to Triathlete" over the summer.
