Your first broadcast will be simple. But there are a lot of things that have to come together at once to be able to do one.
You will spend a week creating the assets for a show and practicing how to execute your show in the studio. You will then have a day or two to prep your show, and one period to execute your show and put it "In the can."
Week One Asset Creation:
You will need at least two 30-60 second video segments about a school event or issue.
You will need at least one PSA. Yes, you can use one you already created.
You will need a script introducing your show and then introducing each segment.
Week One Practice
Your team will practice a canned show. You will use videos and a script that is pre-written and ready to be executed.
Everything needed for the show is in the SLAMA/Broadcasting/Canned Show Assets folder on the server.
Your show will start with an introduction.
Then you will have three announcements.
Then you will introduce your first segment.
Then you will play the segment.
Then you will go to commercial (and play your PSA as the commercial)
Then you will return to the show and introduce the next segment.
After the segment plays, you will say goodbye with "For [announcer two's name], and [announcer three's name], this is [your name] for Good Morning SLHS."
Here's the script:
