Poetic

I like this, really, just as much as you’ll say

that swift girl might have liked her golden apple

which then loosened the belt she’d worn for some time.

Literal

It's as pleasing to me as they say

the little golden apple was to the stubborn/swift girl

which loosened the girdle which had been tied for a long time.
