Claudia, Vestal Virgin, daughter of Ap. Claudius Pulcher, consul 611 = 143, famous through the evidence of the child's love she had for him (cf. nr. 295. Cic. Cael. 34. Val. Max. V 4, 6). She is only mentioned as Appius' sister in Suet. Tib. 4 because of a careless mistake.
