2) A Latin grammarian from a much later time period, known from a treatise published at Keil in five programs[?] (1872-1877) from Halle, and finally GL VII 320-362, Audacis de Scauri et Palladii libris excerpta per interrogationem et responsionem, mentioned by later authors, like Iulianus of Toledo (GL V 317, 21. 318, 13) and the editor of the liber glossarum (cf. Goetz Abh. Sächs. Ges. d. Wiss. XIII 266), used by Baeda, Aldhelmus, and others. <10> In its first section with Victorinus, the treatise deals with de arte gramm. (this can likely be traced back to Terentius Scaurus) and de metr. et hexam., in its second section with Probi instituta artium (tracing from the otherwise unknown Palladius), however, it also has its own individual things too. cf. Keil GL VII 317-319. Jeep Zur Gesch. der Lehre von den Redetheilen 85ff, (who doubts the relationship to Scaurus.)
