317) Ap. Claudius Rufus

He was the oldest son of Ap. Claudius Caecus nr. 91 (Acta triumph. Vell. I 14, 7), he was consul in 486 = 268 (Chronogr. Russo; Idat. Rufo; Chron. pasch. Ῥούφου; Vell. loc. cit. Ap. Claudius), subdued an uprising in Picenum, and hence triumphed de Peicen[tibus] (Acta triumph. Eutrop. II 16, cf. Liv. ep. XV. Flor. I 14). <60> [from suppl.
