A metrical grave-inscription was set up for a matron of this name around the time of the Gracchi (according to Bücheler). It is outstanding in its elegance, and it ends with the characteristic Roman words: Domum servavit, lanam fecit (CIL I 1007 = VI 15346. Bücheler Carm. Lat. epigr. I 53). <30>
