14) Ap. Claudius

He was saved during the proscriptions of 711 = 48 through the sacrifice of one of his slaves, and after another dangerous adventure he escaped to Sicily (Ἄππιος Appian. bell. civ. IV 44. 51). Perhaps identical with nr. 299.
