Perhaps the son of C. Claudius Pulcher nr. 302, he was adopted into the family of the Livii Drusi (see there), and through his daughter Livia he became the grandfather of the emperor Tiberius, who then belonged to the Claudian gens both on his father's and on his mother's side (Suet. Tib. 3). <20>
