13) Ap. Claudius

A valiant young man who fell in battle against the democrats and Samnites at the Porta Collina in 672 = 82 (Plut. Sulla 29, 4). His identification with nr. 12, as Borghesi (Oeuvres II 174) and Mommsen (Münzwesen 561 nr. 177) assume, is only possible if he changed sides multiple times. <30>
