House Frey is a noble house in the Riverlands, known for their cunning and their reputation for treachery. Their seat is at the Twins, a castle located at the crossing of the Green Fork and the Trident rivers. House Frey has only been a noble house for a few generations, having been granted their lands and title by House Tully, their liege lord. Despite their relatively short history, however, the Freys have risen to become one of the most influential houses in the Riverlands.
At the beginning of Robert's Rebellion, House Frey finds itself in a position of great opportunity. They control the strategically important crossing of the Green Fork and the Trident, which puts them in a position to exert significant influence over the course of the war. However, their reputation for treachery has made them many enemies, and their loyalty to House Tully is not unwavering.
RP-wise, playing as House Frey at the start of the rebellion means navigating a complex political landscape.
