Sheikh Baram of Wadai

: The Sheikh of Wadai is considered a much weaker man than his forefathers. He is not a great warrior, a beacon of Bori morality, or even a man of great wisdom when it comes to matters of the purse. No, he is merely attempting to keep a hold of his ancestral lands. The region know as Darfur has been a broken place, full of warmongering sheikhs and chieftains for as far back as memory went. This sheikh prayed, though he did not believe truly, that he could lift his people out of the poverty and instability of the region.
