The History of Beepeck is one of commerce and prosperity.  When the Gnomes ruled their heirarchy through diplomacy and economic might they colonized what is now controlled by Beepeck in order to have a trading hub closer to the Empire to their East and Salt. The Gnomes were a harsh people to the Halflings and kept them as a slave force, which continued for hundreds of years.  Beepeck would become a massive hub for trade and economic prosperity and was one of the many jewels of Anbennar. During the time of the sorceror king part of the city was burned down but from it in the post war period the halflings which now ruled and were dominant used their building methods to rebuild it far more impressive and beautiful than before. The city of Beepeck itself is an absolute wonder whos buildings built upon buildings have inspired many a painter, poet, and artist. It is through this cities wealth that it found itself one of the Empire's first electors and maintains this special status due to the dominant Halfling majority in the city and it's holdings. Being one of the few places in Anbennar where copious amounts of Salt are readily available it trades with many and finds its products on dinner tables throughout the known world.
