Caliph al-Mustansir ibn az-Zahir

Heavily in debt and bloodied from the several civil wars he has just finished putting down, the Caliph of the Fatamids is pleased to see his realm finally settled. He now prepares to continue the work his ancestors started. He turns now to the South and West, to spread the one true faith, the word of Allah, to the heathen savages of Africa. It will be a glorious campaign and he believes he will be remembered for eternity as the Great Converter. For in Allah’s embrace, all men are at peace.
