Situs Requirements

• You must honor the Auld Alliance during the hundred years war. Once the war is over you are welcome to cancel the alliance whenever you want. Historically, the alliance between Scotland and France was made in 1295. The Alliance was reworked every time either Scotland or France got a new ruler. This could be an inspiration for your RP as France with Scotland.
  Things that can maybe ruin the alliance:

  • Peace between England and Scotland for a long period

  • Changing of dynasties

  • Changing of religions

  • Leader traits

  • Being opponents in another war

  • Supporting the rival of either nation (Scotland makes a tradedeals with French rival Denmark ex)

  • A good old backstab decision (must be justified)

• • You should RP around the surrender of Maine for the solution of the Hundred Years War.

  • You must fight the English in the Hundred Years War, a diplomatic solution is not an option. You have fought for a Hundred Years and the wars have been devastating to France. Finally is the support of the majority of the vassals towards the King and the reconquest of English occupied France a possibility. It would be a failure to not seize this military opportunity, to hold down the advance and go into a peaceful diplomatic solution would upset the many vassals and not be an option.

  • England is your rival. No matter if you win or lose the war, they are your rival until sufficient RP can argue towards relations of 'not rivalry' but tolerance and acceptance. Ending the rivalry has to be approved by the GC's

  • Even if you become a colonial empire, your seat of power is in Europe and you are expected to participate in European affairs. It is not allowed to just isolate yourself.

  • Austria is your rival, the HRE is a threat to you and being allied to the Emperor is forbidden. You are welcome to influence the HRE diplomatically and conquer your way into the lands of old Charlemange.

  • You are a Great Power and should play as one, if you can impact other nations towards your ambitions, you should do it. You should aim towards expanding your power at all times and throw your might into the picture to put your agenda on the world stage whenever you can.
