Many of the Duchies and nations of Anbennar were created out of unity, out of weak rulers seaking power, and even more often convenience. We are different, our founder is the great reaver Henrik Divenscourge a man truly worthy of founding a dynasty and a great state like ours. Though his family no longer rules his legacy and traditions in the sea still run strong in our people. There are no others who could possibly claim to have out skill in sailing, exploration, and ship building besides the elves on Venail perhaps... We now have a family with elven blood to guide us forward, as the return of Aelantir comes this will prove to only make us stronger. We are the protectors of the Dameshead and our Navy is great in size and strong in will. Our trading ships are found all over the known world carrying our famous and delcious vintages. Wine is something we have master liked many of the other southern lords. It has made us wealthy and funded our great navy. With the future of the Empire uncertain with the end of the Lilac wars we must find our place. The colonial frenzy for Aelantir could be how we rise to true greatness or be left in the dust of history.

Our home region is known for their fine wines, but there is always room for improvement.  We are not stagnant like the others in the cultivation of new vintages and styles of our preferred drink. The Elves of Moonhaven and all like them who prefer weak drinks are laughable, more laughable still are those who choose the harsh taste of rough drinks like beer or hard liquor. A man of good taste finds his peace in a glass of white wine. We are most known for our whites but cultivate them all.

Our position on the land called the Damepearls allows us to control the trade Routes for most of the Dameshead region. With the money gained we will be able to secure a giant colonial empire in the west.  We have been forged in the toil and struggles of the sea, it is through this we find strength. Though on land we are like any other those who dare to fight our mighty ships and fleet will quickly find themselves at the bottom of the Dameshead.
