1444 years ago Ruin of Aelantir set us on an impossible journey. For a Millenia or ships were lost on the high sea as the Remnant Fleet, until we finally set foot on the continent of Cannor. Most of our brethren went and mingled with a race called humans. They shaped their history in various magnificent ways. But we the elfs of Venail never forgot their true desire:
After hundreds of years of preperations it is time.
We will sail back and refound our true homeland.
The war of Two, the battle that led to the Calamity destroyed most of what made Aelantir our home...
It ripped apart the whole continent, making the sea atreacherous one to traverse.
It set wild magic free, with unthinkable phenomena besieging the lands.
And maybe most regretfully it made our former brethren to unrecognizable husks of their old selves, The so called Ruinborn rule the lands now and they won´t be welcoming us back with open arms.
Aside from that: The humans of Cannor are greedy beings. They will come after us and try to claim our lost lands treasures as their own.
But we will prevail. The newfound Realm of Aelnar will rule the west no matter the cost.
Our main advantage is our long life. It will allow our rulers, even though they are elected, to gain experience and wisdom for humanly incomprehensible times.
Our soldiers may not be surperior in amount, but each elven archer is worth a batallion of humans
