Duke Kasper

Luticia was a region in Central Europe located north-east of the Holy Roman Empire during the 11th century. The region was inhabited by a Slavic tribe known as the Polabians, who were known for their resistance to Germanic expansion and their distinctive cultural and linguistic identity. The Lutici were organized into a loose confederation of tribes, each with their own ruling dynasty and system of government. The region was also marked by a significant Christian missionary effort during the 11th century, as Germanic rulers sought to spread Christianity among the pagan Slavic population. Duke Kasper is in 1066 in a precarious situation. Too weak to fight the Germans, but too close not to, hard choices are ahead of him.
