Magisterium

Our mission is to uncover the hidden secrets of magic in this world. For this we are the educators of most magic users in Cannor. There are 8 great schools of magic which make up our coat of arms and colors which can be seen flying in all of our holdings. The leader of our order is the Grand Magister who was elected by the heads of the orders. 

The unqualified or even malicious uses of magic have to be fought all over the world, who, if not us, will take that task. There are all manner of individuals and creatures that seek to use it for selfish power and gain.

We will use our status as an Elector of Anbennar to secure alliances and curtail any who misuse magic though this can be difficult as our rivals the Orda Aldresia protect the Emperor. They are an ancient order of battle mages that are sworn to protect the Emperor and are the only other major magical authority in Anbennar. We are always looking to destroy or replace them.
